THE BOAT – PRIMADONNA – ROME 9440D
Primadonna is a 13.5-meter sloop, built in 2001, with a steel hull and teak deck. Very soft, classic lines that perfectly conceal the warrior nature of a boat designed by architects Aldo Renai and Massimo Paperini with the aim to sail around the world. Safety is certainly one of the strengths of this sailing boat, which combined with its great stability and the ergonomics spaces, made it a perfect floating home and traveling companion for its captain.
The rigging includes an aluminum through-mast with an overall length of 20 meters, generously sized rigging to cope with the harshest conditions, forestay and non-structural flying rigging to increase the flexibility of possible sails, make this a fun boat to sail in all circumstances.
Battened mainsail, furling genoa, foresail with gaffs and stocking gennaker will be our companions on the voyage. The tormentor is on board and efficient, but we hope not to have to use it.
Tender with a rigid keel and outboard motor will allow connections to the mainland in the event of anchorage layovers.
